Cable structure

  • Stranded bare copper core according to DIN VDE 0295 and IEC 60228 cl. 5
  • Core insulation of special PVC compound
  • Cores color coded, green-yellow earth core in the outer layer, from 3 cores above
    • 2-cores: brown/blue
    • 3-cores: green-yellow/brown/blue
    • 4-cores: green-yellow/black/brown/grey
    • 5-cores: green-yellow/black/brown/blue/grey
  • Cores stranded in layers with optimal lay-lenght
  • Inner sheath of PVC
  • Tinned copper braided screening, approx 85% coverage
  • Special transparent PVC outer sheath, extensively oil resistant
  • PVC self-extinguishing and flame-retardant, according to DIN VDE 0482-332-1-2/ DIN EN 60332-1-2/ IEC 60332-1

Application

This cable is designed to use as a control cable in machinery, computer systems as well as signal cable in electronics. The high density of the braiding assures disturbance-free transmission of all signals and impulses. The inner PVC sheath of the cable raises its resistance to mechanical stress. The used transparent inner PVC sheath optically highlights the tinned copper braiding. These cables are suitable for flexible use for medium mechanical stress with free movement.

Note:

  • *EMC = Electromagnetic compatibility - recommended type.
  • To optimise EMC features we recommend large round contacts of the copper braiding on both ends.
  • CE = the product is conformed with the EC Low-Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.
  • OB = version without green-yellow earth core.
  • Other sizes and types available on request.
  • Conforms to RoHS.
