Cable structure

  • Fine stranded bare copper conductor according to DIN VDE 0295, IEC 60228 cl. 6
  • Special core insulation polyethylene TPE
  • Black cores with repeated white numbering according to DIN VDE 0293
  • Green-yellow earth core in the outer layer, from 3 cores above
  • Cores stranded in layers with optimal lay-lenght, core wrapping with fine fleece
  • Special polyurethane outer jacket color grey, slip resistant outer insulation
  • Flame retardant PUR, according to DIN VDE 0482 part 265-2-1/ EN 50265-2-1/ IEC 60332-1

  • Temperature range flexing from -30°C to +70°C; fixed from -50°C to +80°C
  • Nominal voltage Uo/U 300/500 V
  • Test voltage a.c. 50 Hz 2000 V
  • Spark test 6000 V
  • Insulation resistance min. 20 MΩ x km
  • Minimum bending radius for permanent approx. 7,5 x cable diameter
  • Radiation resistance up to 50 x 106 cJ/kg (up to 100 Mrad)

Application

PUR-FLEX is a special drag chain cable with permanent high flexibility and resistance to abrasion. Due to its good mechanical characteristics and resistance to mineral oils the cable is ideal for application in machinery, robotics, tool production, steel industry and all critical areas. The cable is also ideal for drag chains thanks to its resistance to abrasion, very good flexibility and small bending radius. The cable can also be used for open air application for its resistance to UV radiation, ozone, moisture or microbes. It is however not suitable for direct burial.

Note:

  • CE = the product is conformed with the EC Low-Voltage Directive 73/23/EEC.
  • OZ = version without green-yellow earth core
  • Different sizes available on request.
  • Conforms to RoHS.
