Cable structure

  • Bare copper conductor according to DIN VDE 0295 and IEC 60228 cl. 5
  • Insulation of halogen-free compound
  • Black cores with continuous white numbering
  • Green-yellow earth core, from 3 cores above, cores stranded in layers with optimal lay length
  • HMH-C version with separating layer, screening with tinned copper braiding, coverage approx. 85 %
  • Halogen-free sheath, color grey, extensively oil resistant

  • Temperature range flexing from -5°C to +70°C; fixed from -40°C to +70°C
  • Nominal voltage Uo/U 300/500 V
  • Test voltage 2000 V
  • Minimum bending radius approx. 15 x cable diameter

  • Flame-retardant to DIN VDE 0482-332-3-24/EN 60332-3-24/IEC 60332-3-24 (cat.C)
  • Low corrosiveness of combustion gases to IEC 60754-2
  • Halogen-free to IEC 60754-1
  • Smoke density to IEC 61034-1,61034-2
  • Self-extinguishing and flame resistant, according to IEC 60332-1-2

Application

These halogen-free cables with enhanced resistance to fire are used as measuring and control cables in machine tools, conveyor belts, production lines, air conditioning technics etc. These cables are designed for fixed or flexing installation under medium mechanical strees, however tensile stress must be avoided. These cables are ideal for application in dry, moist and wet areas as well as for laying on, under plaster but not suitable for direct burrial into compressed concrete.
